This article aims to identify and analyze the bibliographic productions produced about the Dignidade Group, a precursor in the pursuit for the promotion of citizenship and the rights of the LGBTQIA+ population in Curitiba, Paraná. This exercise allows to understand how the institution and one of its founders, Toni Reis, are themed in the academic space and how has been its visibility in the public space. For this, we consulted three electronic databases: Google Academic, CAPES thesis and dissertation portal and Scielo article portal. We identified 9 works that deal with the proposed theme having as a time cut the years between 2013-2023. For the analysis of the productions we constructed three thematic axes: 1) formation of the Dignidade Group; 2) homophobic adoption; and 3) performance of the Group and Toni Reis in the public space. We conclude that the discussions in the academic field have been slow, despite the relevance and the political and social role played by those involved.
