Abstract

Introduction: In accordance with Silva et al. (2020), vector-borne diseases cause around 700,000 deaths per year worldwide, which corresponds to around 17% of the global burden of all infectious diseases. It is also worth noting that the diseases caused by mosquitoes of the genus Aedes are commonly called arboviruses, among which those caused by the Dengue, Zika and Chikungunya viruses stand out, responsible for major epidemics in countries with tropical and subtropical climates around the world (ALMEIDA, 2020). Objective: analyze the spatio-temporal distribution of endemic diseases: dengue, Zika and Chikungunya, from 2019 to 2023 in the municipalities of the Metropolitan Region of Belém, investigating the relationship with environmental factors. Method: This is a descriptive bibliographic study, with a qualitative-quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out at the Information Technology Department of the Unified Health System (DATASUS), through the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN). data analysis occurred through descriptive statistics, using Minitab Statistical Software. Conclusion: Through the discussion presented, it is possible to establish a causal relationship between the diseases that presented as risk factors a deficit in infrastructure and basic sanitation resulting from disorderly occupation, affecting social and environmental indicators, as well as the low implementation of public policies.
