The SOCIAL CONSTRUCTION OF REALITY:
A CUTTING OUT OF FAVELADA PSYCHOLOGY
Abstract
This text presents debates in the field of community psychology, with a focus on Favelada Psychology, a recent field in the development of practices and theoretical studies. Therefore, it was proposed to carry out a literature review on the social construction of reality in Brazilian favelas, in the same way, to discuss the insertion of public policies and the challenges faced, both by professionals and by residents of these places, and to reflect on the de-lithization of Psychology. As a methodological procedure, the data were collected through articles indexed in the databases: SciELO, Pepsic and Academic Google. Finally, given what was discussed and discussed, it was possible to understand that the development of subjectivity in favelas is directly influenced by the ideas implemented by individualism, driven by the capitalist era, which further propagates the inequalities and invisibility of such individuals.
