This article analyzes the production of knowledge about the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the professional practice of the social worker. Taking as a reference research published in five journals in the area of Social Work from 2020 to 2021, nine articles were selected produced by social workers who dealt with the Coronavirus pandemic, its facets and implications in the context in which they worked. In the investigative work, of a bibliographic character, it was noticed that health and social assistance policies, as well as the capital crisis, working conditions and gender issues were the spheres where the production of knowledge in the scope of Social Work was concentrated. This is because the debates intended to present the Covid-19 pandemic as a health crisis that was aggravated by the capitalist crisis already present in society.
