Abstract

This article analyzes the transmedia storytelling concept of the artist Manu Gavassi’s case, it describes how she used this strategy in the reality show Big Brother Brazil transmitted from the TV network called Rede Globo in 2020 and how it was possible to conciliate two different platforms such as the word of internet and television at the same time. It also reports how the strategy under analysis had a strong social media engagement which has mobilized not only artists but also anonymous people. As a result of the visibility ih the reality show, she increased her popularity as an artist and this fact helped to lift her career up even more, giving her the opportunity to participate in many campains and interviews.
