This paper analyzes the evolution and impact of criminal organizations on the increase in crime, with a particular focus on the state of Acre. The research also mentions the multiple criminal factions that operate throughout the country and also in the state and their internal dynamics. Acre, due to its strategic location and permeable borders, becomes a vulnerable point for international drug trafficking, exacerbating local crime. The work underlines the importance of the work of public security institutions, the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Judiciary in tackling the problem, highlighting the creation of the Criminal Organizations Crimes Court in the Acre Court of Justice as an important measure in tackling the activities of these factions. The arrival of criminal organizations in recent years has intensified conflicts and violence, leading to a sharp increase in homicide rates, generating serious human rights violations, fomented by territorial disputes and drug trafficking. These violations mainly affect the poorest and most vulnerable populations, who are often recruited by factions or victimized by uncoordinated repressive actions on the part of the public authorities. The local judiciary's response, such as the creation of a specialized court for crimes of this nature, demonstrates an effort to mitigate the impacts and promote justice. The methodology used in this study was bibliographical research, with the help of case law, books, magazines and specialized websites on the subject.
