ABSTRACT SPECIALIZED LISTENING TO CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ABUSE: SCOPE REVIEW

Abstract

The objective was to map the available evidence regarding the national Specialized Listening. The scoping review method was chosen, according to the JBI Reviewer’s Manual for Scoping Reviews and PRISMA-ScR. Searches and selections were carried out in the established databases through descriptors and synonyms, analyzing the relevance of the studies, selecting those that answered the research question, in the period from January to March 2025. The research identified 234 publications in the databases, after the exclusion of duplicates, the identification and screening steps, 43 publications were included for reading in full. Of these, 19 studies answered the review question. The findings indicate that there is a need for training on the subject for rights operators who are part of public policies, as well as the establishment of protocols for care for children and adolescents who are victims of sexual abuse in order to avoid exposure and repeated interviews. In addition, there is a need for professionals to maintain harmonious, articulated communication and for municipalities to guarantee ongoing training, prevention actions such as lectures, symposiums, among others.
